Job Overview
As a Part-Time Center Associate, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to our retail customers, receiving and processing packages for courier shipment, and operating a range of equipment, including copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices. You will be the face of our company, providing accurate information on our products and services, and exhibiting confidence and expertise in your knowledge of the industry. This is a 100% remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home and manage your own schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries, responding to their needs and providing viable solutions
- Practice good listening skills with customers, team members, and leadership, ensuring that you understand and meet the needs of all stakeholders
- Takes ownership of the customer's shipping needs, offering expert advice and guidance on our products and services
- Operate all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion, maintaining a high level of quality control and attention to detail
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience
- Perform other duties as assigned, including opening and closing the store, performing end-of-day accounting, and packaging shipments for safe arrival
- Multi-task while maintaining extreme attention to detail and high quality control, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required, unless currently in High School
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
- Outstanding phone skills and strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math
- Prompt, reliable, and responsible, with a neat, clean, and professional appearance
- Able to lift 40+ pounds and operate and maintain print and finishing equipment
- Ability to cross-sell and up-sell products and services, and help customers with boxing and packaging their materials
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
- Strong knowledge of the industry and our products and services, with the ability to provide expert advice and guidance to customers
- Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays and Sundays, and adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
