Job Summary

The Operations Manager is a key member of the store leadership team and is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the overall management and strategic operation of a CVS/pharmacy location. This includes:

• General store management, oversight, and strategy execution
• Sales and inventory management
• Associate staffing, training, and development
• Financial management
• Customer service leadership

Key Responsibilities

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Driving store performance and execution while building customer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service
• Supporting the Store Manager in the overall management and strategic operation of the store
• Leading and developing a high-performing store team, demonstrating leadership and coaching skills
• Analyzing sales data, inventory levels, and customer feedback to inform business decisions
• Managing and optimizing store operations, including scheduling, staffing, and training
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Building and maintaining relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders

Requirements

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity software

Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with:

• Experience as a retail manager or supervisor
