The Business Analyst Manager performs both management functions by overseeing business analysts and performs advanced business analyst functions as well. Identifies and defines business process requirements. Acts as a liaison between business units and clients to research and identify alternative business solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Oversees the work of business analysts and ensures that department goals and objectives are met
• Serve as liaison for Sales, Client Services, IT, Project Management and the client
• Analyze business process requirements through testing, business consulting, and support services
• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions
• Gathers requirements from Sales, Client Services, and Client
• Creates and maintains project specifications and project workflow diagrams describing overall business solutions
• Assists in the development of Statements of Work, Change Requests, and Business Requirements Documents
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices
• Perform data analysis and documentation in order to identify potential areas of automation, and re-engineering the underlying business process
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a science or business field or 6+ years of business analytics, systems analyst, or related work experience; or any combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as company policies; ability to write routine reports and correspondences; can professionally present themselves orally or verbally
• Experience with Microsoft Office, such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook; ability to develop and Maintain SQL Queries.
