We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist Independent Prescriber to work with our client, a GP surgery located in North London, on a remote basis. As a specialist Independent Prescribing Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in assisting the GP surgery with medication reviews and providing support to the wider team with medication-related administrative tasks.
Job Details:
- Location: Remote (home-based)
- Duration: 8-12 weeks, with a view to extend
- Schedule: 3-4 weekdays per week, with flexible hours (8am-4pm or 9am-5pm)
- Rate of Pay: £31-£38 per hour (via Ltd Co or Umbrella PAYE)
- Start Date: ASAP (mid-late October 2024)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct medication reviews and provide expert advice to patients and healthcare professionals
- Support the wider team with medication-related administrative tasks, including discharges and queries
- Liaise with nurses and doctors within the wider PCN via MS Teams
- Utilize EMIS Web and have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
Requirements:
- Qualified Independent Prescribing Pharmacist
- Ideally completed the CPPE pathway, although strong candidates without this will be considered
- Prior GP surgery experience required
- EMIS Web experience ideal
