Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional support to students in mathematics, particularly in Algebra, Geometry, and all levels of Calculus, both in-person and virtually.
• Work collaboratively with math teams to support and document student progress.
• Develop and implement effective lesson plans and strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Assess student understanding and adjust instruction to meet individual needs.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and parents to ensure student success.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in mathematics education.

Essential Qualifications:

• ISBE licensure required (Para Professional License (PARA), Substitute License (SUB), or Professional Educator License (PEL)).
• Strong Calculus skills and a solid understanding of mathematical concepts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and parents.
• Teaching experience with high school students, particularly in mathematics, is preferred.
• Experience providing support as part of Response to Intervention programs is an asset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PEL with mathematics endorsement.
• Experience with online learning platforms and tools.
• Familiarity with educational software and technologies.
