In this exciting role, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining data models, reports, and dashboards to measure business performance and inform data-driven decisions
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify business opportunities, prioritize projects, and drive process improvements
- Designing and implementing data engineering solutions to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and scalability
- Building and maintaining relationships with business leaders and cross-functional teams to provide strategic guidance and support
- Ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
Responsibilities:
- Create visibility into business operations and product performance, measuring progress against assumptions and identifying areas for improvement
- Drive business growth by analyzing data, identifying opportunities, and prioritizing projects that align with business objectives
- Build trust with stakeholders through effective communication, strategic partnership, and data-driven insights
- Collaborate with Analytics Engineers to design and implement data workflows, ensuring clean, optimized data models
- Evaluate and produce high-quality code, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and maintainability
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or decision science, with at least 3 years of experience working with consumer data
- Proficiency in BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar data warehouse solutions
- Strong SQL skills and experience with dbt
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and version control systems
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience working with Analytics Engineers, Data Scientists, and Machine Learning Engineers
- Strong understanding of core consumer tech businesses and key metrics (LTV, retention, CAC, RAC, ARR, ARPC, margin, NPS, CSAT, and behavioral metrics)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the financial planning or consumer technology industry
- Proficiency in Python and Airflow
- Experience building reports in scriptable BI tools like Streamlit or Dash
