Job Summary
We're looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to accurately capture and upload device information into our inventory management system. As a Data Entry/ Data Wiping Technician, you'll be responsible for data wiping steps using Blancco, triaging and routing assets, and adhering to strict data sanitization and destruction procedures. Responsibilities
As a Data Entry/ Data Wiping Technician at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:
- Accurately capturing and uploading all relevant device information into our inventory management system, including finding serial numbers and manufacturers on computers and removing hardware when necessary.
- Performing data wiping steps using Blancco to ensure client equipment is wiped clean.
- Triaging and routing assets based on technical relevance, generation, physical condition, and internal components.
- Understanding nuanced requirements, deadlines, and due dates between each of our customers and prioritizing workloads accordingly.
- Adhering to strict data sanitization and destruction procedures and regulations when processing data-bearing assets.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and professional appearance of the department.
- Pursuing ongoing training and professional development to preserve technical skills.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF A WIDE VARIETY OF OFFICE AND ENTERPRISE-GRADE IT EQUIPMENT.
- EDUCATION – HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA / PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS.
- VERY STRONG ATTENTION TO DETAIL, ORGANIZATION, AND CLEANLINESS.
- EXCELLENT VERBAL/WRITTEN COMMUNICATION AND ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS.
- ABILITY TO PRIORITIZE IN A CONSTANTLY CHANGING WORKLOAD.
- STRONG INTERPERSONAL SKILLS AND ABILITY TO EXCEL AS PART OF A TEAM.
- ABILITY TO WORK ON FEET FOR MOST OF THE SHIFT AND LIFT HEAVY.
- GSUITE PROFICIENCY.
- 2+ YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A WAREHOUSE ENVIRONMENT/CAPACITY PREFERRED.
