What We're Looking For
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Support Specialist to join our global team. As a key member of our support team, you'll be responsible for:
- Responding to incoming inquiries (including internet chats, phone calls, web inquiries, and emails) by providing product recommendations, troubleshooting support, preparing quotes, and assisting with orders.
- Collaborating with the Technical Product Support Team and Sales Team to provide product support for separation science-related products and services through customer-initiated inquiries and necessary follow-ups.
- Assisting customers with product information, recommendations, application searches, and preliminary method development.
- Utilizing CRM, ERP, ticketing, and chat software to document interactions and provide support appropriately.
- Working to meet global and regional sales revenue goals and associated KPIs.
- Providing world-class customer service to maintain high satisfaction ratings and foster strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Performing other job-related duties that may arise, as requested by customers and/or management.
Essential Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Life Science such as Chemistry or Biology, etc.
- One year of Sales experience or Customer Service experience.
- 1 year of exposure to chromatography and/or sample preparation.
- A strong desire to cooperate in a teamwork environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and database management.
- Ability to quickly master new software.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, previous experience in:
- Customer support or sales in the Life Sciences industry.
- Chromatography and/or sample preparation.
- Technical writing or documentation.
- Project management or coordination.
