Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative I to join our team for a summer employment opportunity. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for participating in high-volume outbound and inbound call campaigns, answering customer questions, and providing exceptional service to our customers. If you're passionate about delivering top-notch customer service and have a strong desire to make a difference, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

Education

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

* Four to six months of customer service experience in a call center environment required. * Preferred experience working in a college financial aid office or college administrative office.

Skills and Abilities

* Good customer service skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Professional phone voice and etiquette. * Ability to follow instructions and scripts. * Skilled in active listening. * Proficient with computers, and good typing skills. * Strong time management and decision-making skills. * Knowledge of the FAFSA. * Knowledge of college financial aid and admissions processes.

Work Environment

* This is a remote position, and you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. * Our office work environment is climate-controlled with no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
