About the position
Responsibilities
• Develop effective and collaborative relationships with the SLT and extended leadership team by providing strategic input and counsel on HR business issues.
• Drive complex initiatives with limited direction and independent decision making, supporting multiple senior level leaders.
• Maintain business literacy about strategy, financials, culture, competition, and market trends.
• Lead with an Enterprise Mindset and partner across the organization to support macro business strategy and cross-functional talent opportunities.
• Drive positive cultural efforts to reinforce a healthy, exciting work environment.
• Manage talent planning and succession planning activities, identifying gaps and critical roles.
• Support talent development by working closely with business managers and country HRBPs to identify development opportunities for employees, understand and address current capabilities and future development needs.
• Recommend strategic solutions aligned to goals and collaborate with HR and COE leaders to develop specialized programs when needed.
• Implement the GHB talent strategy and multi-year roadmap for business growth, leadership development, succession planning, employee engagement.
• Be an active member of the functional Leadership Team.
• Partner with Communications on a comprehensive strategy including All Team Meetings, organizational changes and leadership meetings.
• Collaborate with SLT and Talent Acquisition to drive recruitment strategy and attract top talent.
• Collaborate and support on a range of employee relations matters and work effectively with stakeholders to recommend and resolve them and to mitigate organizational risks and protect retention and engagement levels.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations across various global locations.
• Serve as a point of contact for escalated cases in employee relations, performance management, and legal matters.
• Utilize data to identify issues, predict outcomes, and develop recommendations.
• Support leadership through change management strategies and communication plans.
• Challenge current norms and present HR expertise and best practices.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred in Human Resources or Business.
• 12+ years of HR business partnering experience with increasing scope and responsibility, preferably in a global setting.
• Experience partnering with senior executives.
• Understanding of diverse cultures and business practices in a global environment.
• Strong organizational development and effectiveness experience.
• High degree of executive influence and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
• Proven ability to align talent strategies with business goals.
• Experience in complex, matrixed business and HR models.
• Capacity to manage multiple complex initiatives with a strong work ethic.
• Analytical capabilities to draw conclusions from data and recommend interventions.
• Business acumen with understanding of strategic goals and financial levers.
• Leadership and coaching experience to guide executives in resource allocation and goal achievement.
• Domestic and international travel as needed to support the business.
