About the Role
As a Virtual Assistant at blithequark, you'll be the primary point of contact for our guests and vendors, providing top-notch support and resolving issues across various platforms, including Airbnb, VRBO, and Marriott. Your excellent communication skills, proficiency in English, and ability to multitask will be essential in driving guest satisfaction and achieving 5-star ratings.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Relations:
- Screen potential guests and provide support to resolve their issues on various platforms.
- Respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate and escalate issues to management via Slack.
- Write and respond to guest reviews on Airbnb, VRBO, and other platforms.
- Leverage AI tools, such as ChatGPT, to craft comprehensive guest messaging that resonates with our brand voice.
- Company Tasks:
- Report maintenance and damage issues to Operations via Operto Teams.
- Submit damage claims to Guesty Shield for reimbursement.
- Build, manage, and report on in-house maintenance labor.
- Assist with the onboarding of accounting systems, utilizing your working knowledge of business financials and accounting.
- Foster relationships with 3rd party vendors for tertiary market management.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Fluency in English, with excellent grammar and communication skills.
- Experience with Guesty and/or HostAI is a plus, as well as familiarity with leveraging ChatGPT for guest messaging.
- Proficiency in using VoIP to communicate with guests and vendors.
- Availability and reliability in CST and Eastern United States time zones.
- Shift availability: Thursday & Friday 3pm-11p CST, with potential overnight shifts from 11p-7am CST for the right candidates.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Previous experience in guest relations or a related field.
- Knowledge of business financials and accounting.
- Experience working with 3rd party vendors and managing tertiary market relationships.
