Key Responsibilities
- Route questionable prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Make outbound calls and fax physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Work in a high-production environment, multitasking between patient referrals while maintaining exceptional customer service and attention to detail
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues, provide updates, and ensure seamless patient care
- Utilize strong computer skills to accurately and efficiently process prescriptions, manage data, and maintain records
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills. The following are required:
- 1+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Pharmacy Tech Certified in the state of GA
- Verifiable High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement: arenaflex requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster shots if required, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Specialty pharmacy experience
- Call center experience
- Prescription adjudication experience, with the ability to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and assess prescription claim issues
