Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sourcing Specialist to join our strategic sourcing team, responsible for driving intelligent sourcing decisions and maximizing the value of our $1B+ annual professional services spend. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with business stakeholders across the organization to identify and mitigate risks, negotiate contracts, and recommend best-in-class providers and innovations. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies and contractual arrangements through competitive bids and agreement negotiations
• Participate in and lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives with key internal stakeholders
• Evaluate providers and experts based on pre-determined selection criteria
• Develop and lead RFI/RFP processes for professional services in accordance with TWDC policies and procedures
• Analyze bids based on total cost and delivery to identify opportunities to obtain the best value
• Prepare and execute clear, fact-based negotiation strategies using Strategic Sourcing methodology
• Prepare and execute contracts, as well as perform post-award administration
• Understand and assist in the development and execution of performance management programs with providers that focus on quality, responsiveness, and cost
• Ensure compliance with Sourcing and Procurement policies and best practices
• Communicate and document to management the status of any significant external relationships that may impact planning and decision-making
• Analyze market trends and conditions that affect internal stakeholders and external providers and/or pricing
• Participate in professional development activities to stay current with industry best practices

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience, with a minimum of 2 years of services category sourcing
• Ability to engage with and establish relationships with personnel at all levels
• Strong strategic agility and analytical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
• Internal client focus and ability to work in various environments
• Ability to handle ambiguity and demonstrate exemplary integrity and ethics in all situations
• Knowledge of Sourcing & Procurement processes, basic legal terms and conditions, and entertainment industry trends and conditions
• Proven expertise with all aspects of the sourcing process for professional services agreements
• Established experience working with the legal department on matters related to boilerplate revisions to terms and conditions

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience working with and/or for companies that offer consulting and advisory services
• Professional Services Sourcing background is a plus
• Consulting/Advisory background is a plus

Education

A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field is required.
