- Define, prioritize, and execute product development discussions and guide functional requirements to technical plans and an enterprise roadmap
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and processes, ensuring that all products and services meet Apple's high standards
- Review designs and implementations created by software and automation engineers, providing feedback and guidance to ensure that all products and services are of the highest quality
- Communicate and drive decisions (written and oral) on various aspects, such as customer experience, technical design, privacy, and security
- Build tools and workflows that help engineers understand the impact of their enterprise on managed enterprise and educational environments
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience deploying and managing Macs, iPads, iPhones, and Apple TVs in a variety of enterprise (Non-Profit, Startup, Financial Services, etc.) and educational (K12, Higher Ed, etc.) organizations
- Hands-on experience with configuration management solution landscapes, specifically those used to configure macOS devices
- Advanced programming skills in Swift, Python, Go, Objective-C, or similar languages
- In-depth knowledge of Apple enterprise technologies, such as Apple Business Manager, Mobile Device Management Profile, Apple Configurator, Automated Device Enrollment, and more
- Comprehensive understanding of software development and quality assurance lifecycles, methodologies, and best practices
- Familiarity with Apple Management Platforms and Mobile Device Management Solutions across different deployment types, such as Open Source, Paid Solutions, and Managed Solution Providers
