**Key Responsibilities:**
As a Retail Customer Service Cashier, your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing exceptional customer service by cheerfully and accurately completing point of sale transactions while interacting with customers, co-workers, and telephone customers
* Monitoring entrance and exit points for shrinkage and maintaining a secure and safe environment
* Operating cash registers, POS programs, and other equipment with accuracy and efficiency
* Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to arenaflex's high standards of quality and customer satisfaction
* Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
* Participating in initiatives that promote diversity, inclusion, and community engagement
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Basic computer and math knowledge
* Ability to count money accurately
* Physical ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
* Visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a terminal, extensive reading, and visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and use of measurement devices
* Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours or more per day
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Previous retail or customer service experience
* Basic knowledge of cash handling procedures and policies
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
