About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Remote Inbound Travel Representative to join our Wyndham Destinations team. As a subject matter expert in customer service and travel accommodations, you'll be the first point of contact for our excited owners who are ready to plan their dream vacations. Your expertise will turn vacation inspiration into reality, making you an integral part of our customer's journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Take inbound calls from existing owners and provide exceptional customer service by booking car rentals, airfare, hotel reservations, cruises, and recommending activities and experiences tailored to their interests.
- Utilize your knowledge of travel software programs and systems, such as Apollo, Sabre, or Worldspan, to efficiently manage bookings and reservations.
- Build rapport with customers quickly, ask probing questions, and offer additional services to meet their travel needs, driving sales and revenue growth.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking with ease and handling pressure with professionalism.
- Maintain a high level of productivity and meet performance targets while adhering to company standards and policies.
What You'll Bring
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Six months of customer service and sales experience
- Ability to build rapport with customers quickly and offer additional services to meet their travel needs
- Intermediate level proficiency with travel software programs and systems
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Availability to work between 11:00am - 10:00pm EST Mon-Fri, with a set schedule provided after training
Preferred Qualifications
- Six months of travel experience
- Prior experience with travel software programs and systems, such as Apollo, Sabre, or Worldspan
Skills and Competencies
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers. You'll also require:
- Intermediate computer proficiency and ability to troubleshoot technical issues while working from home
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic industry

- $16.50 per hour, plus monthly incentives

Work from Home Requirements
To work from home successfully, you'll need to meet the following requirements:
- A quiet workplace free of distractions
- High-speed internet (DSL or Cable only, no WI-FI, satellite, or 5G) with download speed of 20mbps, upload speed 3mbps, Latency less than 100ms
- Ability to hardwire computer directly to a router
- Own personal device with a working camera for the first week of training (until our computers reach your home)
