Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Front Desk Associate to join our team in a remote work-from-home capacity. As a key member of our front-line team, you will be instrumental in providing exceptional customer service and support for our in-house programs. This hybrid role offers the perfect blend of flexibility and work-life balance, allowing you to balance your time between our remote office and home.
Key Responsibilities
- Exceptional Customer Service: Extend a warm greeting to each customer, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and providing a positive experience for all guests.
- Administrative Tasks: Accurately record sales transactions, manage registrations, and efficiently handle payments, as well as perform routine administrative duties such as answering phone calls, filing, and updating program boards.
- Program Management: Enroll customers in various programs, including hockey leagues, and offer detailed information regarding facility options, entertainment, sports, and relevant rules and regulations.
- Facility Maintenance: Uphold a tidy and inviting environment for both guests and team members, and assist with the setup and takedown of on-ice partition boards, nets, and other essential equipment as required.
- Waiver Management: Ensure all participants in public programs complete the necessary online waivers.
Required Skills
- Customer Service Aptitude: Strong customer service skills with a genuine desire to assist others and provide a positive experience for all guests.
- Teamwork and Flexibility: Dependable team player who maintains a positive demeanor and is willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Communication and Literacy: Competence in reading and interpreting written instructions, as well as effective communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- First Aid Certification: First aid certification is advantageous, but not required.
Qualifications
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in customer service is preferred, but not required.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
