About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Entry and Live Chat Specialist to join our team in Costa Rica. As a key member of our Customer Listening Team, you will be responsible for handling the end-to-end Voice of the Customer (VOC) process, which includes designing and programming customer experience surveys, analyzing data, and providing insights to drive business growth. With over 5 million surveys received from clients each year, this is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with utility teams to outline, frame, and capture business needs, leveraging your expertise in VOC methods to drive transformation and innovation
- Develop and maintain a robust data model architecture to support efficient data processing and standardized metric definitions
- Design and build big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions using transformational technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python
- Deliver innovative solutions, ensuring data quality and accuracy through extensive testing at variable and use case levels
- Provide guidance to enhance competencies and drive efficiency in computing programs using big data ecosystems
- Proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve quality and efficiency
- Collaborate with partners from GSN and AET to prioritize, define, increase, and test data for various use cases as part of the VOC end-to-end process
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Hands-on experience with Hive/Hadoop, Pyspark, Python, Shell Scripting Languages, development launch management, and troubleshooting understanding for data-driven projects (minimum 3 years)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, stakeholders, and technical teams
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and provide actionable insights
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable:
- Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling
- Certification in data science or a related field
