Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and professional support to customers via phone, email, or in-person, ensuring that their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded
- Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the success of our organization and provide a seamless customer experience
- Handle customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, resolving them promptly and efficiently
- Process transactions, handle cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons, and balance daily transactions
- Check in baggage and freight, answer phone calls, and provide information to customers, page customers, resolve issues or complaints, and assist as needed
- Manage difficult customers due to oversells, delayed or canceled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage, and resolve issues quickly and within company guidelines
- Provide current and accurate information to customers, including fare, schedule, reservations, flight arrival/departure information, and answer general questions from customers and other airport visitors
- Complete forms and reports as required by the company, and compose irregularity and complaint reports as needed
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people at all levels
- Ability to type or use a computer keyboard with adequate speed to meet the needs of the job
- Ability to understand documents, follow instructions, learn and understand company policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Ability to work under stressful conditions, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing situations
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field
- Knowledge of the airline industry or a similar field
- Ability to speak multiple languages
