About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Remote Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer support team, you will be responsible for delivering an amazing customer experience, providing technical support, and managing customer accounts. Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, delivering exceptional customer service and support
- Manage customer accounts, providing technical support and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Enter application data, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Respond to online chat inquiries, providing prompt and effective support
- Interpret and follow defined procedures and policies, ensuring compliance and consistency
- Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills, adapting to changing projects and updates
- Manage time and tasks effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
- Participate in extensive self-study, training, and testing, ensuring eligibility to proceed through training and certifications
- Adhere to regulated guidelines for communications via all channels, ensuring compliance and professionalism
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age or older
- Complete a background check and drug test within 3 days of hiring
- Have a dedicated, private, and secure workspace
- Have a personal device with a functioning camera for the training period
- Be committed to full attendance for the paid 3-week training period
- Have a minimum internet speed of 35 mb/s with an ethernet connection
- Have cable/fiber broadband internet with a hard-wired ethernet connection (not compatible with mobile internet service providers, satellite, Wi-Fi internet access, or Wi-Fi adapter/extenders)
Essential Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- Moderate to advanced computer skills
- A high level of comfort learning new technology
- A high level of professionalism and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfort working from home and self-motivation to succeed
Preferred Experience
While not required, the following experience is preferred:
- Previous experience in customer support or technical support role
- Previous experience with group and/or individual health insurance, or the Affordable Care Act
- Previous experience in a call center environment
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Spanish bilingual skills (a plus)
