Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls from members, providers, physicians, and internal and external clients, responding to questions and concerns related to pharmacy benefits
- Research and resolve problems in a timely manner, using computerized systems to gather information and respond to questions
- Assist members in understanding and maximizing the use of their pharmacy distribution program, providing clear and concise information and support
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all inquiries in a common database, ensuring continuous improvement of the customer service process and reducing potential legal concerns
- Identify and escalate concerns received from patients and/or clients in a prudent manner, ensuring corrective action is pursued and expedited to meet their needs
- Collaborate with other operational departments to research and resolve mail order and claims issues, responding to members within performance agreement guidelines
- Adhere to quality and production standards, complying with all applicable company, state, and federal safety regulations and guidelines
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in a call center environment, preferably in a customer-facing role
- 1 year of experience in customer service, with a proven track record of providing exceptional support and resolving complex issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to research and resolve complex issues in a timely manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and complete documentation
Preferred Qualifications
