The purpose of this role is to provide seamless financial management for our clients during the maternity leave period, ensuring that their trust is maintained, and our business reputation is upheld. Your role is vital in delivering accurate, timely bookkeeping, and personalized financial insights to our clients. You will be responsible for managing the financial records of 7+ clients, including reconciling accounts, categorizing transactions, and preparing reports. Your ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, providing them with personalized Loom video walkthroughs of their financial reports, will be essential in building trust and ensuring client satisfaction.
The ideal outcome of this role is to ensure that our clients receive the highest level of service, with accurate and timely bookkeeping, and personalized financial insights. Your key responsibilities will include:
Compensation for this role will be a fixed monthly rate based on the number of clients and workload. The estimated workload is 10-15 hours per month for existing clients. We are looking for a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor with at least 2 years of experience, preferably with a background in short-term rentals, solopreneurs, and real estate bookkeeping. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. You will be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision after training, and you will have a strong understanding of confidentiality and data security, especially when handling sensitive financial information.

The selected candidate will work closely with our team in February and March to learn our specific bookkeeping processes and procedures. During the training period, you will take on tasks with our oversight, moving toward independent work by April 2024. We estimate that the training and onboarding process will require 5-10 hours per month, and we will provide you with ongoing support and guidance to ensure that you have the skills and knowledge you need to succeed.
