About the Role

As a Provider Customer Service Call and Chat Representative at blithequark, you will be the advocate for healthcare providers, addressing their inquiries and concerns through phone calls and concurrent chats. Your expertise will be crucial in resolving issues related to benefits and eligibility, billing and payments, clinical authorizations, explanation of benefits, and behavioral health. This is a full-time, remote position available to candidates residing in Arizona, offering the flexibility to work from home while making a significant impact on the healthcare system.

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for healthcare providers, demonstrating accountability and ownership in resolving their issues.
• Provide multi-channel support through calls and concurrent chats, ensuring timely and effective resolution of provider inquiries.
• Quickly triage contacts from healthcare professionals, identifying their needs and resolving issues efficiently.
• Research and analyze complex prior authorization and claim issues, taking appropriate steps to resolve them and prevent repeat contacts or escalations.
• Collaborate with internal partners to ensure issues are resolved and thoroughly communicated to providers in a timely manner.
• Utilize multitasking skills to navigate over 30 systems, extracting necessary information to resolve issues across multiple lines of business and provider types.
• Influence providers to adopt self-service digital tools, aiding in faster resolution and enhancing their overall experience.

Essential Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience, with a proven track record of analyzing and resolving customer concerns.
• Proficiency in computer and Windows PC applications, with the ability to learn new and complex systems.
• Typing speed of 35-40+ WPM with an accuracy of 90%.
• Flexibility to work a full-time schedule (40 hours/week), with the possibility of occasional overtime, weekends, or holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a related environment, such as a call center or customer service role, using phones and computers as primary job tools.
• Prior healthcare experience and knowledge of healthcare terminology.
