We are seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to join our Walgreens Remote Jobs team. As a key member of our Business Development and Clinical Preliminaries team, you will be responsible for creating and delivering winning proposals for complex deals. Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
- Direct and drive the development of multiple proposals in a fast-paced, client-centric, deadline-driven environment.
- Foster key content and financial plans for proposals to deals opportunities and RFP/Is, ensuring consistency in approach, metrics, and strategy.
- Participate in internal business development meetings and system conversations to explain scope of work, gain insights into projects, and determine key messages.
- Identify and ensure key stakeholders are involved in content creation and endorse expectations and timelines within the proposal process.
- Complete complex proposals across multiple business sectors within established timeframes, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and concision, including refining and scaling proposals while maintaining consistency among business regions.
- Guarantee all in-flight proposals are tracked and monitored for progress with assigned agreement/proposal management framework (CRM).
- Prepare proposals, with assistance from legal, such as but not limited to Privacy Agreements (CDA), Professional Services Agreements (MSA), Clinical Trial Agreements (CTA), Assignment Orders, Changes, and Specialist or Subcontract Agreements.
- Lead internal audit process in adherence to timelines, including the kickoff and designated spot meetings from receipt of proposal request through final submission, ensuring stakeholders are engaged.
- Construct and oversee repository of proposal content, responses, best practices, and concentrated evaluating to populate project details progressively to ensure alignment with scope updates and changes.
- Collaborate with marketing and executive leadership to ensure content is competitive and fit for purpose to maintain a competitive edge.
Essential Capabilities
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential capabilities:
- Four-year degree in Business, Healthcare, Communications, English, Marketing, or related field, or comparable work experience as a proposal manager.
- Three years' experience managing complex proposals in a high-speed, B2B climate life sciences or potentially SaaS technology.
- Experience in Pharma/Life Science.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint, knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM.
- Excellent knowledge of proposals and budget cycles and ability to interpret budgets and conventions.
- Proactive and productive with exceptional time management, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with various colleagues at different levels of the organization.
- Meticulousness and commitment to delivering high-quality work product.
- Demonstrated ability to meet time constraints.
- Will to travel up to/similar to 10% of the ideal time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
