About the Role: Product Manager, Stride Tutoring
As a Product Manager at Stride Tutoring, you will play a pivotal role in driving product strategy, setting product priorities, and owning product outcomes for core feature sets within the Stride Tutoring application. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product and business leadership, engineering, design, marketing, customer support, and sales, to define and deliver a product that delights customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead product development for core feature sets within the Stride Tutoring platform, driving business strategy through innovative product experiences.
- Define product outcomes and drive product development to achieve those outcomes, ensuring customer value and business success.
- Develop and execute product strategy through ideation, scoping, and proof of concept, testing product hypotheses and reducing product risk.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to guide products from conception to adoption, taking ownership of outcomes and driving customer satisfaction.
- Own and maintain the product roadmap, informed by customer discovery, competitive insights, and technical requirements.
- Develop a deep understanding of customers, their needs, and motivations, driving value through proactive and customer-centric product development.
- Perform ongoing research into the tutoring industry, staying abreast of emerging trends and providing trusted advice to business leadership.
- Develop business cases for product investment, securing approval from the Stride SVP Steering Committee as needed.
- Act as a connective tissue between customers and stakeholders, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive product success.
Essential Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in product development, with a minimum of 5 years in product management, demonstrating well-developed leadership skills.
- Experience with modern digital product management approaches, such as Lean/customer-centric product development, design thinking, or Amazon's "Working Backwards" model.
- Extensive firsthand experience with design, development, and implementation of tech products, with a laser focus on driving customer value.
- Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting, financial planning, and business operations, with analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with a history of success collaborating with executives across an organization.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a passion for technology, continuous delivery, and working toward customer outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BS/BA in business, technology, computer science, or a relevant field; MBA is a significant plus.
- Relevant product management training and/or certifications.
- Experience in online marketplace, startup, or online education industries.

Compensation and Benefits:
Stride, Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $96,000 to $190,000, depending on factors such as experience, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus, and the company provides a robust benefits package, including health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
