Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, production-driven, and team-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Weekend Customer Service Representative. As a CSR, you will apply the latest customer service techniques, learn our account management systems, and help improve the customer experience during challenging times. This is a part-time position working approximately 3-29 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs. You will have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home office, utilizing your skills and expertise to deliver exceptional support and build strong relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide positive customer service and technical expertise through prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to customer information needs
- Offer empathy and support to customers during the claim process, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience
- Collect and document all claim details provided by the customer into the claim accurately, utilizing our account management systems
- Identify and resolve customer issues by adhering to client-specific handling instructions, demonstrating a proactive and solution-focused approach
- Utilize call scripting to ensure consistency and efficiency in handling customer claims and inquiries, continuously improving our service delivery
- Remain available for extended hours or additional shifts during peak periods or emergency situations, providing critical support and ensuring consistent customer service coverage
- Adhere to break and lunch schedules to maintain productivity and ensure seamless customer service coverage, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
Required Skills and Abilities
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- Excellent language skills, with the ability to read and interpret documents such as police and accident reports, write routine correspondence, and provide detailed accident descriptions
- A confident, clear, and professional telephone presence, with the ability to project a positive and empathetic tone
- Strong computer skills, with knowledge of basic computer functions, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to type at least 40 words per minute
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required
Education and Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- A High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- 1-2 years of quality assurance experience preferred, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
Network Requirements
To ensure seamless connectivity and data security, you will:
- Run a Speed Test from the computer you will be working from (www.speedtest.net) upon hire
- Utilize a private network, not working in public locations, and avoid using VPNs, as logins must happen in the US
- Consider using an Ethernet connection, although it is not required, to ensure optimal performance and reliability
