Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Asset Protection Agent to join our team, responsible for supporting the store cast in maintaining a safe and secure environment for cast members and guests. As an Asset Protection Agent, you will be the visible deterrent to potential threats at store entrances/exits and throughout the site, maintaining high visibility and responding to incidents of suspicious activity, hazardous behavior, and other potential workplace safety concerns. Key Responsibilities

• Act as a visible deterrent to potential threats at store entrances/exits and throughout the site, maintaining high visibility and responding to incidents of suspicious activity, hazardous behavior, and other potential workplace safety concerns.
• Utilize specialized training associated with Retail Counter-Terrorism and TWDC Workplace Security Programs to recognize, deter, and report related activity, such as aggressive/raised conduct, civil unrest fights, imminent danger, terrorism, etc.
• Conduct on-site security/safety inspections in person (and through CCTV where applicable), responding to and escalating identified risks to Store Leadership and Corporate Asset Protection (Loss Prevention)/Security (refer to security/safety assessment frameworks).
• Support crisis preparedness and emergency response programs to help mitigate potential impacts, support cast and guest needs, and promote a risk-adverse culture.
• Support Store Leadership with deterrence and response to aggressive theft activity/coordinated retail crime, elevated guest interactions, and assist store project with response to Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) activations when required.
• Perform 24/7 camera and alarm monitoring (where applicable), related incident notification, investigation, trend analysis, and case management documentation.
• Perform cast member and vendor site access security screening associated with bag/package/coat inspections.
• Act as a policing and security/safety resource for regional industry and TWDC partners at the direction of Corporate Asset Security/Safety Programs and act in accordance with Disney values, behaviors, and guidelines.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum one year of Retail or Asset Protection/Loss Prevention/Security experience within a retail environment.
• Attention to detail, ability to focus on and prioritize tasks.
• Proven ability to use time efficiently and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven success in working in a team environment.
• Job may require lifting handles that weigh up to 40 pounds and climbing a ladder.
• Available to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the business, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of Loss Prevention and Security techniques, policies, and practices.
• Understanding of basic Safety practices and procedures.
• Working knowledge and experience using retail CCTV systems.
