**Job Summary**
The Medical Billing Revenue Cycle Trip Intake Data Entry Representative will work within the Trip Intake Team to enter base rate, loaded miles, and wait time charges into the Billing System. This is a part-time position, requiring 25 hours of work per week, with the possibility of overtime as needed. The ideal candidate will have excellent data entry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
**Essential Functions/Duties**
As a Medical Billing Revenue Cycle Trip Intake Data Entry Representative, your key responsibilities will include:
* Applying appropriate base rate mileage charges into the billing system
* Applying appropriate wait time charges to the billing system
* Accurately assigning accounts to the next department
* Ensuring all accounts are worked correctly to allow distribution to the floor in a timely manner
* Performing other duties as assigned by management
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
* Six (6) months of data entry experience
* Ability to pay close attention to details and find discrepancies in data
* Basic skills with Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use functions for sums
* Experience with downloading documents from websites and accessing the documents downloaded
* Ability to type a description of steps taken into the billing system
* Ability to gather data, compile information, and apply data entry steps accurately to accounts
**Preferred Education**
While a high school diploma or GED is preferred, significant and relevant work experience will also be considered.
