As an IT Business Analyst - Data Entry and Remote Work Opportunities, you will be responsible for providing IT administration, project management, and support to ensure the functional sustainability of our critical infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and maintaining effective communication and relationships with supervisory teams, vendors, and peers
- Providing project management and support for data center and remote communication room standards, capital enhancements, upgrades, and improvements
- Ensuring compliance with all governing corporate standards and policies
- Developing and implementing departmental policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures
- Managing and coordinating the selection of IT and facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, obtaining best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors fulfill their contractual obligations
- Providing proactive and break-fix support for alert/ticket remediation related to facilities, remote communication rooms, lab, and data center equipment
- Ensuring operational sustainability of airport critical climate systems
- Developing Plan Standards for Remote Communication Room Space, UPS, HVAC, Generators, and Fire Life and Safety (FLS) systems
- Providing remote incident management resolution to airport critical equipment
- Maintaining strict adherence to change control activities
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Knowledge of data center technology and facilities infrastructure
- Project management experience with remote communication room standards, capital enhancements, upgrades, and improvements
- Capital budgeting and project management experience for airport critical equipment life cycle replacement
- Space, UPS power, and critical cooling capacity management
- Selection of facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, obtaining best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors fulfill their contractual obligations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to balance multiple priorities within established time constraints
- Flexibility to support an operation with varying shifts, extended hours, and on-call work requirements
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are preferred:
- Four-year degree or 5 or more years of relevant experience
- IT project management experience with high availability communication room or data center operating environment, daily operational requirements, and the operation of production systems and equipment
