Job Summary
We're on the hunt for a seasoned GVP of Trust and Safety to lead our global operations. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive trust and safety strategy that aligns with our organizational goals. Your expertise in business development, leadership, and Trust and Safety will be instrumental in driving growth, innovation, and excellence across our teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a global trust and safety strategy that supports Workwarp's mission and objectives.
- Policy Development: Create, implement, and maintain policies and guidelines to prevent and mitigate fraudulent activities across our platforms.
- Threat Identification: Conduct in-depth red teaming exercises to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, ensuring proactive measures are taken to safeguard our users and platforms.
- Business Development: Lead the creation and execution of business development strategies focused on generative AI, data annotation, and labeling, driving growth and innovation in these areas.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and tailoring solutions to meet their Trust and Safety challenges.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to our global team of Trust and Safety professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Proven Leadership Experience: 15+ years of leadership experience managing staff, with a track record of success in Trust and Safety or related fields.
- Trust and Safety Expertise: 10+ years of experience in various aspects of the Trust and Safety space, with a heavy focus on Generative AI, Data Labeling/Annotation, and Crowdsourcing.
- Business Development and Consultative Experience: 10+ years of proven success in business development and consultative experience in the Trust and Safety industry.
- Outsourcing/BPO Experience: 10+ years of previous outsourcing/BPO, operations, or management consulting experience.
- Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong analytical thinking, proactive attitude, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Negotiation and Business Management: Outstanding negotiation and business management skills, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Sales and Business Development: Proven experience in sales, with a focus on hunting new logos or opportunities.
- Internet Safety and Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of internet safety, privacy, and online community dynamics, as well as familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to safety and AI.
