About the Role: Full-time Night Shift RN Telephone Triage
We are seeking experienced registered nurses to join our team as full-time night shift RN telephone triage professionals. Essential Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current multi-state RN license with no restrictions
- At least 2 years of nursing experience, with a strong foundation in medical-surgical nursing, pediatrics, or other relevant areas
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in electronic medical records and other healthcare software applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers via telephone
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with minimal supervision and support
- Successful completion of a background check, drug screen, and reference checks
Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families who speak both languages
- Experience in telephone triage or other related fields, such as case management or disease management
- Certification in telephone triage or a related specialty, such as CTRN or CCM
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a telephone triage setting
