Job Summary
As a Call Center Representative, you will work in a fast-paced, remote environment, providing exceptional customer service, resolving complex issues, and driving business results. You will be responsible for performing patient enrollment, handling high-volume customer requests, and utilizing pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and medication information. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary range of $25-$35 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient enrollment and information section in accordance with state and government guidelines
- Handle high-volume customer requests, working under direct supervision
- Maintain guideline working strategies and perform obligations in accordance with Organization arrangements and techniques
- Utilize pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and medication information
- Process new patient enrollments by entering data into a suitable system
- Handle patient prescription demands within HIPAA rules and enter top-off orders for processing
- Investigate to obtain missing prescription data and decipher clinical truncations (SIG codes)
- Resolve all data entry-related exceptions
- Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and settle outbound decisions to prescribers and patients on a case-by-case basis
- Resolve Outsider Oddballs by surveying, gathering data, making remedies, and resubmitting for handling as indicated by individual arrangement necessities
- Provide assistance to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those in different areas
- Identify and convey issues to senior-level staff as suitable
Essential Qualifications
- Secondary School Certificate or GED
- Basic level computer skills (e.g., start and close PC, use the mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between programs, save files, print documents, and access data online)
- Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing URLs in the right area, using a web search tool, bookmarking a webpage, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online
- Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing files)
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- 18 years old or older
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment
- At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with a state-recognized certification/registration or nationally recognized certification
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction
- Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, organizing files)
- Familiarity with Spanish and English
