Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Pharmacy Technician Online Instructor to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. As a key member of our instructional team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality live online courses, teaching Pharmacy Technician programs, and contributing to the development of our curriculum. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver live online courses to students, ensuring a engaging and interactive learning experience
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our Pharmacy Technician program curriculum, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
- Collaborate with our instructional design team to create new course materials, assessments, and evaluations
- Provide feedback and support to students, addressing their questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staying current with industry trends and advancements in pharmacy education
- Contribute to the development of new courses, programs, and services, aligning with our strategic goals and objectives
- Engage with students, faculty, and staff to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience, with a strong background in pharmacy or a related field
- Teaching certification preferred, but not required
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician, with a strong understanding of pharmacy practices and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Proficiency in learning management systems, online course platforms, and other educational technologies
- Flexibility to work on a part-time, as-needed basis, with a minimum of 10 hours per week
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in pharmacy or a related field
- Experience teaching online courses, with a strong understanding of online learning best practices
- Knowledge of pharmacy law, ethics, and regulatory agencies
- Experience with curriculum development, instructional design, and assessment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
