A Day in the Role
As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Processing various medical documents, such as Independent Medical Reviews
- Extracting data and entering it into our electronic database using Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word
- Working independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure that questions are addressed, documented, and cases are returned in a timely fashion
- Using critical thinking steps to determine next steps and reaching out to clients via phone to obtain missing information
- Providing excellent customer service and client coordination over the phone
- Working in a metrics/quota-driven environment and meeting productivity and quality standards
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At least 1 year of remote work experience
- Reliable high-speed internet and a personal computer or laptop (no Chromebooks)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in healthcare, insurance, or claims
- Experience working in a metrics-based environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Schedule and Work Environment
This is a 100% remote opportunity with blithequark, and you will be required to work:
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST
- In a metrics/quota-driven environment with productivity and quality standards
