About Our Healthcare Customer Service Role
We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll have the opportunity to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, providing support and resolving issues in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Connect with customers via phone, email, chat, and social media to resolve their questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Calmly attempt to resolve and de-escalate any issues, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Escalate interactions when necessary and appropriate, collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues.
- Respond to requests for assistance and/or possible processing payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Track all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, providing valuable insights to improve our services.
- Provide feedback on call issues, contributing to the development of best practices and process improvements.
- Upsell or cross-sell services when required, identifying opportunities to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
Essential Qualifications:
- 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or related field.
- Over 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to type 25 words per minute, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex issues and provide logical solutions.
- Comfort with desktop computer systems, including Windows operating systems and software applications.
- Organization and work prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare customer service or a related field.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technology tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
