Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist to join our team as a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records. This is a remote work opportunity, and you'll have the flexibility to work from home while still being part of a dynamic and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Providing exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Processing prescriptions, including verifying patient information, counting and measuring medications, and preparing prescriptions for pickup or delivery.
- Maintaining accurate records, including patient information, prescription history, and inventory levels.
- Working with our pharmacy team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Performing administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and other duties as assigned.
- Participating in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and regulations.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as pharmacy, healthcare administration, or business.
- At least 6 months of experience in a retail or healthcare setting, preferably in a pharmacy or customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, patients, and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- PTCB certification or equivalent experience in pharmacy practice.
- Experience with pharmacy software and systems, including electronic health records and prescription management systems.
- Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and laws, including HIPAA and OSHA.
- Experience with data entry and other administrative tasks, including filing and record-keeping.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
