About the Role
As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for executing strategies that support the growth of ocean volumes and enhance the development of the ocean product. You will work closely with the MD of Ocean to support carrier development, pricing, analysis of carrier service, routings, carrier performance, and resolving carrier service issues. This role will also require you to support sales and operations as an ocean subject matter expert, providing guidance and expertise to ensure the success of our ocean logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute strategies to drive the growth of ocean volumes and enhance the development of the ocean product
- Work closely with the MD of Ocean to support carrier development, pricing, analysis of carrier service, routings, carrier performance, and resolving carrier service issues
- Support sales and operations as an ocean subject matter expert, providing guidance and expertise to ensure the success of our ocean logistics operations
- Implement and communicate strategies to increase volumes, maximize competitiveness, enhance service, and support adherence to the preferred network
- Assist in implementing pricing programs and reviewing volume targets to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Work with the TLM to develop an ocean strategy that enhances the effectiveness of sales to achieve expectations of account development and yield enhancement
- Communicate both internally and externally to outline strategy, market conditions, and work closely with the MD, Ocean, along with the global trade lane team, sales, and operations to communicate direction and deliverables
- Direct and indirect customer contact will also be required, providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients
- Work closely with product, sales, and operations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures to minimize company risk and ensure regulatory compliance
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, logistics, supply chain management)
- 3+ years of experience in data entry, logistics, or a related field, with a strong understanding of ocean logistics operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop insights to inform business decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks, with a strong focus on attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), with experience using data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau)
