Responsibilities
As an Airport Agent – Ramp and Customer Service at Blithequark, you'll be responsible for:
- Guiding and Directing Aircraft: Safely guide incoming and outgoing aircraft on the taxiway, ensuring timely and efficient gate entry and exit.
- Handling Baggage and Cargo: Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, cargo, and company materials, some of which may weigh up to 75 lbs.
- Operating Ground Equipment: Drive tugs, belt loaders, and bag carts to support aircraft movement, baggage handling, and cargo transport.
- Collaborating with the Team: Work closely with internal teams to ensure safe and on-time departures, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Aircraft Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean the interior of aircraft, lavatories, and perform other tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable travel environment.
Qualifications
To succeed as an Airport Agent – Ramp and Customer Service at Blithequark, you'll need:
Essential Qualifications:
- Age: Be at least 18 years old.
- Education: Possess a high school diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
- Driver's License: Hold a valid, unexpired, and unsuspended state driver's license.
- Physical Abilities: Be able to carry, bend, lift, and turn with bags and other items weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Language Skills: Read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
- Work Authorization: Be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
