Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and motivated Entry Level Cook to join our team as a Culinarian in training. This exciting opportunity is based in a remote location and offers a competitive salary package commensurate with experience. Key Responsibilities

As an Entry Level Cook, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Learning and practicing company Food and Beverage (F&B) procedures, health department regulations, and federal guidelines
• Following proper food handling and storage procedures to ensure food safety and quality
• Maintaining Food Cost and Labor Cost control measures to optimize profitability
• Checking the freshness of foods and ingredients, and ensuring all recipes and portion-use records are followed
• Being aware of guest feedback scores and contributing to positive influence on rankings
• Fostering a climate of cooperation and respect between coworkers to promote a positive work environment
• Performing other duties as assigned to support the success of our hotels and restaurants

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as an Entry Level Cook, you'll need:

• Basic knowledge of cooking and preparation equipment
• Basic cooking skills, including Sautéing, Broiling, Frying, Roasting, Butchery, Garde Manger, Pantry, and Breakfast Cookery
• Culinary education or apprenticeship (preferred but not mandatory)
• Ability to stand and move at a fast pace for long periods of time

Preferred Qualifications

• Culinary degree or diploma
• Relevant work experience in a kitchen or food service environment
• Certifications in food safety and handling (e.g., ServSafe)
