About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales and Digital Specialist to join our Sales and Digital Department within DMG. As a key member of this team, you will support multiple verticals, focusing on editorial placement of music on fitness apps, coordinating with select digital accounts, and driving DMG's efforts in voice technology and smart speaker marketing. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of DMG's podcasts to podcast platforms, facilitating UGC sound delivery and claiming, supervising relevant Wiki pages, and managing pivot pages and QR Codes as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Fitness Account Liaison: Track DMG's connections to various fitness applications, such as Peloton, Supernatural, and Medrhythms. Develop innovative approaches to support DMG releases with wellness partners, considering the unique characteristics and demographics of each platform.
- Advanced Marketing Drives: Collaborate with internal teams to obtain approvals for branded efforts and analyze campaign outcomes to inform future planning.
- Digital Showcasing: Manage the creation and execution of digital marketing initiatives, including Inside Constructed Turn Pages, Wikipedia Page Updates, UGC Library Demands and Asserting, and Verse Conveyance.
- Voice and Smart Speaker Advancement: Stay up-to-date with the latest voice assistant technology and ensure an effective workflow for executing creative initiatives to support projects. Analyze DMG's voice data to identify opportunities to increase streaming consumption through voice requests.
- Point Person for Select Digital Accounts: Liaise with select digital partners to market Disney releases for consumption on their platforms, creating and expanding new opportunities with growing new offerings.
- Digital Broadcast Conveyance: Work with internal DMG groups to ensure the proper delivery of materials through the digital recording inventory network with TWDC Stage Circulation Operations. Measure and share podcast listening results.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Three or more years of experience working in digital marketing and development or similar technology fields in the music industry.
- Familiarity with smart speakers and devices, as well as experience working with third-party partners.
- A passion for music, ability to multitask, attention to detail, excellent communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Willingness to learn proprietary software as needed and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other programs.
- A bachelor's degree and ability to work four days a week in our Burbank office.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will be considered a plus:
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment within the music industry.
- Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing and music commercialization.
- Experience with data analysis and interpretation to inform marketing strategies.

- A competitive salary range of $81,100.00 to $104,800.00 per year, based on a 40-hour work week.
