Key Responsibilities
- Query carrier data from various sources and perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and insights.
- Develop Python scripts and build models to predict behaviors and recommend carrier activities.
- Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Present findings and results to Operations Research and Business leaders at the end of the summer internship program.
- Demonstrate a proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications:
- A current GPA of 3.0 or higher and completion of at least 2 years in a college program with a focus on Data Science, Data Analytics/Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Availability to work the full 13-week summer internship program (May 13 - August 9, 2024).
- Willingness to work from either the Atlanta or MSP office, with a hybrid work schedule that includes some on-site and remote work.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and teams.
- A strong commitment to safety, security, and data protection.
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, and authorization to work in the US.
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience processing large datasets and deriving insights to inform business decisions.
