**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service/Sales Representative at arenaflex, you'll be the face of our company, providing fast, friendly service to our customers and driving sales growth through proactive outreach and engagement. You'll work closely with our Department Supervisors and other associates to ensure that our customers receive the best possible experience, and that our stores are always stocked, clean, and safe. **Key Responsibilities**
* Provide fast, friendly service to customers, actively seeking out opportunities to engage and assist them
* Learn about products and services using our tools and training programs, and provide information to customers to drive sales growth
* Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department, and know how to handle basics in adjacent departments
* Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring that they are clean, shop-able, and safe
* Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and standards, completing specified safety training, and reporting hazards and unsafe conditions to your Manager on Duty
* Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department, as well as other departments
* Participate in sales initiatives and promotions to drive sales growth and customer engagement
* Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
**Essential Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
* 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience, preferably in a retail or construction-related industry
* Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, and colleagues
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
* Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in a retail or construction-related industry, preferably in a sales or customer service role
* Knowledge of building materials, tools, and equipment, or a willingness to learn
* Experience with sales software and technology, such as CRM systems and sales analytics tools
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
