We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our remote team, where you'll play a vital role in providing top-notch service to our customers and clients. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with Business Development Assistants, Business Development Managers, and other support areas to ensure seamless order processing, scheduling, and execution.

**Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
* Processing orders, verifying customer information, and providing exceptional customer service
* Overseeing a diverse range of customers, including complex cases, and escalating questions to supervisors as necessary
* Grouping orders for largest truck loads to optimize cost savings and bracket pricing qualification
* Requesting appointments for loads as needed and grouping customer pickup loads
* Addressing potential order issues, gathering and tracking order details, and researching discrepancies
* Providing timely and thorough communication with clients and customers
* Collaborating with the supply chain team to mitigate inventory issues
* Participating in scheduled calls with Hormel/Customer, providing feedback and insight
* Communicating regularly with management to advise on critical issues or opportunities
* Performing training and vacation/out-of-office backup duties
**Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A High School Diploma or GED
* 1-3 years of experience in Customer Service, preferably in a fast-paced environment
* The ability to work independently, prioritize duties with minimal supervision, and execute detailed work to meet deadlines
* Proficiency in Microsoft applications, with a focus on Excel, Outlook, and web-browsers
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications would be advantageous:
* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
* Familiarity with supply chain management and inventory control
* Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software
* Certification in customer service or a related field
