Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a member of our Payments and Digital Strategy crew, you will be responsible for handling everyday tasks related to check processing, item processing, direct bills, and fund transfers. Key Responsibilities
- Complete data entry and balancing tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
- Coordinate return items with contributors, doors vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions
- Assist different departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and related Accounting standard ledger balancing
- Work member cases/sports assigned and provide timely and effective solutions
- Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws
- Process loan payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other checks, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks
- Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
- Log, report, and make necessary GL, account changes and/or returns
- Process Stop Pays and Check Batching
- Complete daily balancing and department closing tasks
- Obtain information from contributors for the timely and correct processing of international and domestic fund transfer requests
- Research and confirm incoming and outgoing fund transfer information
- Communicate with the vendor to process fund transfers
- Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming fund transfer laws and regulations
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or GED
- Intermediate Excel and Word skills
- Previous customer/member service experience (preferred)
- Previous banking or Credit Union experience (preferred)
- Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience (preferred)
