Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to handle inbound customer service calls related to patient accounting questions. The successful candidate will be responsible for answering calls in a professional and service-oriented manner, resolving customer queries, and providing exceptional support to our clients. When inbound call volumes are low, the incumbent may make outbound follow-up calls on outstanding accounts receivable (AR) accounts to ensure timely resolution and payment.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess exceptional customer service skills, including effective problem-solving and analytical skills. You should have a professional and calming tone of voice, complete command of the English language, and the ability to facilitate conversations with others. A high school education or equivalent is required, and 1-2 years of prior experience in an inbound call center and/or customer service environment is preferred. Hospital patient account billing experience or knowledge of third-party reimbursements from insurance companies and government payers is a plus.
