- Assist patients with interpreting and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy system
- Communicate and collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve issues and concerns
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that patients and clients receive timely and accurate support
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that specialty drugs are delivered on time and that financial and clinical expectations are met
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Active IL Pharmacy Technician License or willingness to apply for an IL Pharmacy Technician License
- At least one year of experience in a customer-facing role, handling complex customer needs via phone
- At least one year of experience working with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications
- At least one year of computer keyboarding experience, with strong skills and proficiency
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in healthcare, with knowledge of benefits, insurance, medications, and medical terminology
- Previous experience working in a high-volume customer service environment
