Job Overview
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to fill a part-time remote customer service representative position. As a customer service representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring that their travel experience is smooth and enjoyable. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to blithequark customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner
- Utilize computer systems to sell, print, and reissue tickets, as well as manage the check-in process and ensure that customers have the necessary documentation for travel
- Label and handle luggage, performing lifting tasks that involve moving luggage from scales to conveyor belts, and handling items as low as floor level and as high as waist level
- Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational cycles and procedures, ensuring the well-being of ourselves and others
- Work collaboratively with other teams, including the gate and ramp teams, to ensure that customers receive seamless service throughout their travel experience
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to consistently lift bags or items weighing up to 80 pounds
- Authorization to live and work in the country of application
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to use appropriate language, tone, and elocution
- Ability to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Current possession of a valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the aviation industry
- Knowledge of airline operations, including ticketing, check-in, and baggage handling procedures
- Ability to speak multiple languages, with a focus on languages commonly spoken by blithequark customers
