Job Summary
The Customer Service Associate plays a vital role in supporting the store management team to facilitate and perform a variety of tasks, including customer service, food and beverage preparation, cash register duties, general housekeeping, and other related functions. As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will deliver an exceptional customer experience that supports our vision to fulfill lives every day. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for all customers, responding to requests and complaints in a timely and courteous manner. Utilize the GREAT customer service and customer recovery model to ensure customer engagement.
- Communicate with the management team regarding customer requests and concerns, ensuring that all issues are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Operate the cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and properly handle different methods of payment. Maintain proper cash levels in the register drawer and change machines, and activate fuel and gift cards as needed.
- Comply with federal and state laws by requesting personal identification from customers purchasing restricted products, such as tobacco and/or alcohol.
- Stock and refill products within the interior and exterior core register area, cold express cases, bakery, and grocery aisles, ensuring that all areas are well-maintained and stocked.
- Perform customer fuel transactions and monitor activities at the fuel court, stopping fuel pumps if necessary to ensure a safe and efficient experience.
- Prepare all made-to-order food and/or beverages according to recipe or customer specifications, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Stock food and beverage areas with products and supplies, ensuring that all areas are well-stocked and maintained. Ensure coffee thermals are filled and working properly, providing a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for our customers.
- Ensure the proper execution of assigned foodservice and beverage programs and procedures, adhering to all safety, security, quality, and store operations policies and procedures.
- Complete cleanliness tasks to ensure all food and beverage service areas are free of any residue, debris, and spills, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and associates.
- Follow proper coding procedures, checking expiration codes, facing and inspecting all items, and pulling expired items, documenting, and discarding as necessary.
- Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality, and store operations policies, procedures, and practices, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all.
- Complete all store housekeeping functions, including cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, and ensuring that all areas are well-maintained and clean.
- Ensure safe working conditions by maintaining a clean, organized work area, adhering to all safety standards and procedures.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by store management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn and grow with our team.

- Must be able to perform the following physical behaviors repetitively throughout a shift: standing, walking, handling, reaching horizontally, and grasping firmly.
- Must be able to perform the following physical behaviors frequently throughout a shift: reaching above the shoulder, reaching below the waist, pushing buttons, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs, demonstrating physical stamina and endurance.
- Must be at least 16 years old, with reliable transportation and the ability to wear slip-resistant shoes at all times.
- Must be able to tolerate exposure to cleaning products, demonstrating a commitment to safety and well-being.
Preferred Qualifications

- Pursuit of or high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a commitment to learning and personal development.
