About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting customer engagement by processing teller transactions, sharing digital solutions, and making appropriate introductions to bankers. You will also complete operational activities while minimizing risks under established policies and perform routine transactional, operational, and customer support tasks efficiently through knowledge of bank procedures and products. As a Teller, you will receive direction from managers and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures, escalate questions and issues to more experienced roles, and interact with customers and individuals to demonstrate care, build relationships, and complete requested transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Process teller transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, with accuracy and efficiency
- Share digital solutions with customers and provide guidance on online banking and mobile banking services
- Make introductions to bankers and other financial professionals to support customers' financial needs
- Complete operational activities, such as reconciliations and audits, while minimizing risks under established policies
- Perform routine transactional, operational, and customer support tasks efficiently through knowledge of bank procedures and products
- Receive direction from managers and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures
- Escalate questions and issues to more experienced roles, such as team leaders or managers
- Interact with customers and individuals to demonstrate care, build relationships, and complete requested transactions
- Identify information and services to meet customers' financial needs and provide personalized solutions
Qualifications and Requirements

Essential Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience interacting with customers, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues
- Basic knowledge of banking products and services, including deposit and loan products
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a banking or financial services environment
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to speak multiple languages, with fluency in English required
- Basic knowledge of financial planning and investment products, including retirement savings and investment options
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other banking systems
