**Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Experience Agent, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers through various channels, including phone, email, and chat. Your primary goal will be to resolve customer issues in a timely and accurate manner, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and courtesy. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
* Fielding incoming customer service calls, researching account status, and identifying account issues
* Addressing billing inquiries and resolving billing disputes in a fair and timely manner
* Processing disconnection and re-connection requests, as well as enrolling customers and resolving enrollment issues
* Initiating collection activity on past due accounts and processing disconnection and re-connection requests
* Serving as a customer advocate while adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies associated with the role
* Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction
**Essential Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
* Outstanding phone etiquette and polished communication skills (written and verbal)
* Excellent listening skills and ability to maintain a calm demeanor when dealing with agitated customers
* Attentive to detail and committed to high-quality customer service
* Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Willingness to identify problems and suggest process improvements
* Proficiency in Windows environment and MS Word and Excel applications
* Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where change is commonplace
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inbound call center environment, with customer care experience strongly preferred
* Experience within the retail electricity industry strongly preferred
* Experience in similar markets such as utilities, telecom, or cable preferred
